Visiting Paris is something that everyone has to do at least once in their lifetime. It has to be one of the most magical cities in the world, which has been made iconic through so many Hollywood movies. I have heard a few friends tell me they think that a trip to Paris is a costly one, well I am here to tell you that it really doesn’t have to be. Just like anywhere in the world, you can spend as much as you like or as little as you want. It’s easy for us to get to Paris because the Eurostar Paris to London runs regularly and is so quick there is no reason for you not to go there this weekend! It is one of my favourite cities in Europe and one that I always look forward to visiting. During my trips to Paris I have found that you can see some great things with out spending a penny! So, if you are travelling on a budget but still want to be amazed by what Paris has to offer here are some great things to see and (16)

The River Seine

One of the things that appears in most photographs of Paris is the River Seine, it flows right through the city. There are so many bridges for you to spend romantic moments with your loved one, there is no better place for a special moment that standing on a bridge over the Seine. You can also bring a picnic and sit on the banks for hours watching the world go by with one of the most famous rivers in the world just a few feet away.

The Eiffel Tower

Yes, you have to pay to go up the tower, but you don’t have to join the masses and queue for hours to enjoy the world’s most famous tower. You can marvel over the tower from most places in the city. Go to the base of the tower to take some memorable photographs.

Notre Dame Cathedral

Made famous by a novel, this cathedral is without doubt the most amazing piece of architecture that I have seen. The best thing is that you don’t have to spend a penny to walk around inside. You will have to pay to enter certain areas but that is not essential to enjoy the cathedral.
