Things Every Man Should Have In His Wardrobe

The modern man can find himself in many different situations and it really doesn’t matter what he does during the day. Therefore he needs to be ready for different outfits to fit the needs of these varying situations. This is my guide to the things that every man needs to own, enjoy reading it!

A watch

Every many should have a watch and it should be a good one. A watch is an investment into your own personal style and should be near the top of your list of things to buy. A good watch is also highly recommended because you only need one. A great one will be timeless and last you a lifetime, so choose wisely and don’t be afraid to spend a bit more for something beautiful.

These are definitely a very versatile piece of clothing that can be worn many different ways. Jeans are my ideal piece of clothing because you can more or less wear them with anything. I would personally go for a pair of darker slim cut jeans because they can be worn with a t shirt and sneakers, as well as a shirt and some more formal shoes. Every man should have at least one pair of jeans and perhaps more!

As well as jeans, every man should have a nice pair of trousers for that formal occasion. Again these are more versatile that you would think and can be dressed down with sneakers and a dark coloured t shirt too. I like to have a few pairs of trousers in different colours to suit a variety of situations.

These are an absolute staple of your wardrobe and a nice mix of colours and patterns should cover all your formal to casual situations. I would highly recommend a white shirt and a blue oxford shirt, as these are very versatile and can be worn with more or less anything.

T shirts

The humble t shirt is the most underestimated item of clothing in a man’s wardrobe and they really deserve more love than they get. A t shirt has the potential to be more relaxed with a looser cut or a more formal and slimmer cut. I really like t shirts because they fit into every situation and you can dress them up or down as you like. I personally go for plain coloured t shirts, as these are even more versatile than printed t shirts, which may look a bit odd in a more formal setting.
